Conservation Efforts

Consolidated’s primary conservation effort is a 100 kW h solar power plant installed at our Larchmont Sewage Treatment Plant. These panels foster energy savings and help conserve fossil fuels.

Consolidated was the first company in Southeast Georgia to embrace and implement wireless radio read meter technology. The system saves unnecessary use of paper, reduces fuel consumption, and minimizes the potential for human error. Percentage wise Consolidated has more radio read meters than any other system in Southeast Georgia.

Additionally customers can opt into an electronic billing program and pay their bills online, reducing paper usage in the process.
